“I feel the Owala is the best water bottle,” junior Mollie Persinger explained. “I like how they don’t leak, keep drinks cold, more useful, and it’s so cute when you sip it because it makes you look like a koala.”

“I feel that people invest in different trendy water bottles due to the fear of the missing out factors that go into it,” senior Ian Gum said when asked why he thought that people are so invested in water bottles.
Another water bottle trend that came to fame was the Hydro Flask water bottle brand. Hydro Flasks were insanely popular in 2019 when the huge trend was being a VSCO girl. Customers would add stickers on their water bottles to express themselves.
Persinger thinks people are invested in water bottles because “everyone is looking for something to inspire them to drink more water.”
In 2023, the Stanley cup was very popular amongst pre-teens, teens, and even adults who wanted to put a sparkle in their water intake. These cups are still popular because they come in a 64 oz. size, which really does inspire people to drink more water.
“I feel that Voss tastes and looks the best,” Gum explained. “I like them because [they have] the best minerals and durability.”
