Many teenagers have favorite trends. The question is: What are the most and least popular current micro trends?

There are many different kinds of trends on social media. They can range from objects like NeeDohs and bedazzling to memes like “67.” Teenagers mostly all know which trends are cool and which aren’t, but their opinions vary. Some of them like the object trends and some like memes.

Emily Hudson, sophomore, thinks that NeeDohs or “67” are the most popular trends currently.

“My favorite trend is probably NeeDohs or bedazzling,” Hudson said. “I think Fruit Love Island is cringy, though.”

Fruit Love Island is an Artificial Intelligence series on a popular social media app called TikTok. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this series. Some people find it cringy, some love it, and some hate that it is created with AI.

Calla Fauber, sophomore, doesn’t typically watch Fruit Love Island, because she thinks that it is stupid.

“’67’ is my least favorite trend. It is extremely annoying,” Fauber said. “I love NeeDohs, though.”
