Christmas: The most magical time of the year! The glowing of lights, the holiday cheer, and glee…there is just something about Christmas that we all cherish and hold dearly in our hearts.
Some memories are more cherished than others. For instance, can you imagine getting a lovely puppy for Christmas? Junior Mollie Persinger can. “My favorite Christmas memory is when I got my puppy Pumpkin when I was two years old,” she said. “Well, actually it was meant for my sister…but still!”
Some Spartans had a hard time deciding on a favorite memory, but not Ms. McMahan, a business law teacher. “My favorite Christmas memory was getting my first computer at age eight,” she said. “The reason is because I had asked for it for three or four years and I finally got it!” It is safe to say Ms. McMahan was a very happy girl.
Meanwhile, other Spartans cherish family memories. Sophomore Cooper Birkelback has a very wholesome and sweet family memory. “My favorite Christmas memory was getting a real Christmas tree with my family. Then afterwards eating at King Tuts,” he said. “The Food was very good!”
Can you believe our school staff were once kids, too? What could possibly be counselor Mike Vincent’s favorite memory? “My favorite Christmas memory was getting the Millennial Falcon from Star Wars,” he said. “I was seven or eight years old. I was very excited. It was just so cool!” Vincent said.
