The Spartan boys’ and girls’ soccer teams accomplished so much in their 2025 season. Both teams won their regional matches to advance to the state semifinals.
The Lady Spartans played Herbert Hoover at home for their regional game, which they won 4-1.
The Spartan men’s regional matchup was with Princeton at home. They won 3-0.
Unfortunately, when the teams traveled to Beckley for their state semifinals, both teams lost.
It is still amazing to see how far both teams came this year.
Sophomore Realyn Snedegar, who plays outside back for the Lady Spartans, was asked what the biggest win was for the team.
“Our biggest win this season was Oak Hill at home, and obviously regional,” Snedegar said. “Our team was very connected this year and that’s what really got the team good.”
Both teams had a wonderful season!
