Katie Weiford, Staff Writer
Katie Weiford is a senior at Greenbrier East High School. This is her first year as a writer for The Spartan Shield. She plans to become either an accountant or a kindergarten teacher. She is the current secretary for the National Honor Society, and a member of Go Global Interact. She also plays rec league basketball and has been playing since the 1st grade. Her favorite music artists are Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, and Childish Gambino. She likes to believe that her best school subjects are math and English, and actually tutors math for a side hustle. Katie loves to spend time with her best friend Gypsy, usually on a fun or time-killer adventure in Katie’s car.
