High School Means Fewer Field Trips
Ronceverte Elementary’s 2013 fifth grade field trip to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s home in Charlottesville, VA.

Throughout our middle school years, we Greenbrier County students enjoyed multiple educational field trips. So why should we have so few trips in high school? To me, field trips are a fun and effective way of learning. Many students learn best visually and hands-on, and these modes feature in almost every field trip. I think Greenbrier East should schedule more school outings. Do you agree? If so, leave your ideas for educational destinations in the “Comments” below. If we show enough interest, administration might be persuaded to move forward with more school trips.
