A “Snow” Good Season
December 3, 2019
It’s getting to be that time of year where it’s not “that right kinda cold.” I think winter isn’t that great because it’s cold, ice is slippery, and the muddy slush from melted snow is horrid to step in. Winter isn’t all bad, however. Some pros are snow, hot chocolate, a lot of birthdays (Maggie Merriman, Chris Scronce and Peyton Robinette), and Christmas, of course. I asked some people for their opinion and there are a lot of mixed feelings about the season itself: people either love it or hate it. Winter is a very harsh season here, mainly because of how cold it gets. I’m not a fan of going to get into my car and finding the doors frozen shut. I am, however, a big fan of school delays; I love waking up in the morning with the text saying “3 hour delay.” I wish school would start later in general, but that’s another story.
