My Religion

Kenna Sheppard, Staff writer

Everyone has a different opinion on different religions. I would like to start off by saying my religion is Christianity. I am a very strong believer and follower of Christ. Depending on what we all believe in, we all put that into our daily lives. What I believe in is the most important thing to me.

Although I believe in something we cannot see, others may find it hard to do the same since many people believe in only the things they see right in front of their eyes. By no means do I force someone to put their time and faith in God. You have to do that on your own time; when you are ready, you will know.

For about a year now, many people have judged me for becoming a new and better person. God turned my life around and I am not ashamed of saying this. As I said before, we all have different opinions. Don’t judge someone for what they believe in just because you don’t believe in the same thing. We are all different, with different opinions, different looks and different everything. I don’t want others to go through what I go through every day, listening to people say “You’re too religious,” “You need to stop posting so much about God,” or “You’ve changed so much!”

My point is, don’t judge, and don’t listen to others who are dragging you down. Listen to whatever is in your heart motivating you to wake up in the morning, and who encourages you to do good things.
