Popular Thanksgiving foods include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and many more.
It is interesting to see how many students and teachers agree on what foods are the best and which are the worst.
A lot of vegetables are included in Thanksgiving dishes, and Head Football Coach Ray Lee isn’t feeling the love for one vegetable in particular.
“I love everything except for brussel sprouts,” Lee said.
“I love sweet potato casserole and I hate stuffing,” Social Studies teacher Ben Walker said.
Walker spoke for many Spartans when he expressed dislike of stuffing, but many did not share his love for sweet potato casserole.
Sophomores Tessa Spradlin and Casey Yates, as well as Spanish teacher Scott Vogelsong and Principle David Vincent, disagree with Walker’s love for casserole.
“My favorite Thanksgiving food ever is mac and cheese,” Yates said, “and my least favorite is stuffing.”
There are also some interesting foods people eat at Thanksgiving, such as dumplings.
Spradlin said, “My favorite is dumplings,” Spradlin said, “and I absolutely hate sweet potato casserole.”
Sophomore Emily Hudson said that she also loves mac and cheese and dislikes casserole.
Principle David Vincent’s favorite Thanksgiving food is turkey, and his least favorite dish is green bean casserole.
Assistant Principle Joey Hodge expressed a new opinion: “I love stuffing and hate squash.”
