Miller’s Haunted Farm is a renowned attraction that has captured the imaginations and stoked the fears of visitors for many years. This haunted farm makes each fall a spine-chilling experience, drawing crowds from this area and well beyond. The farm’s reputation for delivering a terrifying experience has made it a staple in the Halloween season. Miller’s is located at 260 Cabin View Lane in Lewisburg, and features fantastic scare actors to entertain visitors all the way through a haunted trail and corn maze, a mini-escape room, and much more. A regular ticket is $20-25.
Upon your arrival at the farm, while you wait for your turn to tour, The Dark Midway offers food, games, fire, music, and a Nightmare Parade at dusk. Concessions include fresh cut fries, hot donuts, funnel cakes, burgers, pizza, butterbeer, cheesesteaks, hot chocolate, lemonade, ribbon fries, and hand dipped corn dogs.
Upon entering, the first scare is a walk through the Demented Forest, which is escaped through The Bog and the Hag’s Hut where Baba Yaga lives. Visitors are next challenged by Miller Manor, which, according to westvirginiahauntedhouses.com, is a 4000- square-foot “freak ridden house [that] will twist your mind and test your stamina.” The manor has dark hallways and many odd features, and is said to be the source of the madness surrounding the farm.
The only way to exit the manor is through a tunnel into the Blood Shed, and the only way out of the shed is to slide down the Body Chute into the basement. Once you climb out of the basement you will find yourself in the twisted path of The Infected Crop, a field that contains some unknown corn variant. Some say the site used to be used for chemical testing, and others believe it is a sacred Indian burial ground. The inhabitants are known to be crazy, ghostly, possessed, or even dead. When you make it out of the corn, be prepared to venture through the dimly lit woods to find your way to the Forgotten Bus to return.
They do have a rain policy at Miller’s. If it is lightly raining, then they will operate as normal. If the weather is severe or consistent with heavy rain, they have to close. They also recommend that you come prepared by wearing warm clothes and comfortable shoes. Miller’s has security who has the right to remove anyone from the trail if they have alcohol or exhibit other negative behavior. If you are prone to seizures or pregnant, you cannot enter. You can find all of this information on their website, millersnightmare.com.
