Which do you prefer: summer or winter? I interviewed a few different people on this topic.

My stepmother Rachel Fry said that she likes winter more than summer because she prefers the cold, she hates the heat, and she doesn’t like the bugs and snakes that are out during the summer. Fry also said she prefers winter because “Nothing is better than sitting in a tree stand admiring the woods and animals.”

My best friend Cheyenne Huffman, on the other hand, prefers summer. Huffman loves being tan, going to the beach, and taking long car rides with the music turned up and the windows down. Huffman also loves to go fishing during the hot summer days.

My sister-in-law Ariel Lester loves both seasons, but if she had to pick one it would be summer. Lester’s favorite thing to do is go camping with all her family and friends. She also loves traveling, the beach, and water parks. “My favorite water park is Wilderness in the Smokies located in Tennessee,” she said.

I couldn’t go without summer or winter. In the winter I love to go sledding and hunting and to take pictures of the snowy mountains. But summer means traveling and being able to play softball and to just hang out outside and enjoy the weather.
