With a lead of 5 votes, the winner of the 2022 Barks Madness competition is Winston!

Winston is a chocolate lab born on May 7, 2021. Ella Columbo, Winston’s owner, has had the 11 month old lab since June 25, 2021. 

“We got Winston on June 25 from a breeder in West Virginia,” Columbo said. “We just felt like we wanted an active dog to swim, hike, and fish with us at our river house since our older lab, Honeycomb, was getting tired.” 

The Columbos got exactly what they wanted! Winston is a very active puppy, spending his free time going on hikes with his family, kayaking, and showing off his newest tricks. 

“He is 80 pounds and still growing,” Columbo said. “But he stills likes to sit on your lap!”
