My family moved out into the country two years ago. Mom decided we were going to have farm animals, since we had the room and the ability, so last fall she bought three Nigerian Dwarf Pygmy mix goats: Hazel and Gertie, both 8 weeks old when we got them, and Clara, who was 10 years old. Hazel and Gertie came from the same place, and we got Clara from another lady a couple months later. All the goats absolutely love jumping on things, so we got them a swing, but I haven’t really seen them using it. When we got them, we built an outside place that’s fenced in for them to stay during the day, but they go inside their own little house at night. Sometimes we bring them inside to explore for a little bit, as well. My dog Luna really enjoys going outside to see the goats while mom feeds them, but Clara headbutts Luna, so we try to keep her out of the pen.
