As you know, all good things have to come to an end.

On November 8, seniors Brandon Honaker, Chris Hulmes, Kyle King, Peyton Pack, Braden Pence, Houston Scott, Owen Vogelsong, Colton Wickline, Marion Lawson and the rest of the team laced up their cleats for their final regular season game, a 25-6 win against Riverside that sent them to the playoffs with a record of 7-3. These boys played a tremendous season against opponents James Monroe, Woodrow Wilson, St. Albans, Man, Buckannon, Oak Hill, Ripley, Parkersburg South, Princeton, and Riverside.

The season included many ups and a few downs–losses to Woodrow Wilson (24-7), Man (22-17), and Parkersburg South (42-10), as well as a heartbreaker 28-27 playoff loss to the Spring Mills Cardinals here at Spartan Stadium.
