The importance of Future Farmers of America (FFA) week is to show people who are neither involved in the FFA club, nor taking agriculture (ag) classes, the history and importance of FFA, as well as what students are doing within their ag classes. Along with that, big milestones in FFA are celebrated. At Greenbrier East, students had the opportunity to play ag-related games and see some of the animals students raise, as well as some of the tractors students own. All students were encouraged to get involved in FFA week so they could see some of the opportunities they could be a part of.
